A few things worth considering when using Google Analytics are setting up goals and funnels and monetizing visits ($/visit).
Goals can be set up to establish progress (or lack thereof) for specific KPIs (key performance indexes). These goals can be set up to track length of visits, bounce rate, conversions (i.e. form submissions, forwarding an email, downloading a file, time on a page, etc.) and just about anything worth tracking.
Monetizing site visits is something that is automatically done within Google Analytics eCommerce. If your site is not eCommerce then you must approximate a value/visit using your conversions. This can be done with some simple math using the organization’s value of a converted user / lead.
